PRIVACY POLICY
Your family's privacy, plainly.
Effective September 1, 2026 · Natura AI LLC
The short version: we collect a parent's email address and the small details you choose to share so Santa can personalize the call (a first name, a wish list). Calls happen live — we don't record or store your child's voice or video. We don't run ads, we don't use tracking or analytics SDKs, and we never sell data. Email us any time to see or delete everything we have.
Who we are
Dial Santa is made by Natura AI LLC ("we," "us"). It's a parent-directed entertainment app: a grown-up sets everything up and buys minutes, and a child uses it together with their parent or guardian. This policy covers the Dial Santa iOS app and this website.
What we collect
- Parent email address. This is your account. We use it to sign you in (a one-time code, no password), attach your purchased minutes, and send purchase receipts. Nothing else.
- Call personalization you provide. A child's first name, and optionally an age, city, wish list, or good deeds — whatever a parent chooses to enter. These exist so Santa can greet your child and hold a real conversation.
- Purchase records. Which minute pack you bought and when. Payments themselves are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.
- Basic call records. When a call happened and how long it lasted, so we can meter minutes correctly and refund calls that fail.
What happens during a call
Calls are live conversations with an AI character. While a call is running, your child's voice and camera-free audio stream is processed in real time by our AI service providers so Santa can hear and respond. This processing is what a parent consents to during setup.
- We do not record calls. No audio, video, or transcripts of your child's conversation are stored by Dial Santa after the call ends.
- The child's first name and the details a parent entered are passed to the AI character at the start of each call so the conversation feels personal, and are used only for that call.
- Santa is designed never to ask a child for personal information, and never to promise specific gifts.
Service providers
A small number of companies process data on our behalf, strictly to run the product:
- HeyGen (LiveAvatar) and ElevenLabs — render Santa's live video and voice and process the conversation audio in real time.
- LiveKit — carries the encrypted real-time audio/video stream.
- Stripe — processes payments and receipts.
- Railway — hosts our servers and database (located in the United States).
These providers act under their own privacy and security commitments and receive only what's needed for their job. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
Children's privacy
Dial Santa is built for parents to run. Accounts, purchases, and setup are done by an adult; a parental gate protects anything involving money or leaving the app. We collect from children only what a parent enters on their behalf (like a first name), plus the real-time voice processing described above — with the parent's consent, given during setup. We follow the principles of COPPA: minimal collection, parental consent, no ads, no profiles, and parental control over deletion.
Your choices & rights
- See or delete your data: email us and we'll show you everything tied to your account or erase it entirely — including your child's name and any call records. We answer within a few days.
- Withdraw consent: simply stop using the app, or ask us to delete the account.
- Unused minutes on a deleted account can be refunded — just ask.
Security & retention
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Sign-in codes are stored only as one-way hashes and expire in 10 minutes. We keep account and purchase records while your account exists and as required for tax and accounting; call-metering records are kept only as long as needed for billing accuracy.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and note it on this page before the change takes effect.
